What a lovely Birthday surprise!
One of the joys of our work here at Sport Walk, is getting a notification revealing that we must be having an impact on others and this morning, we got a lovely surprise when we logged on to our website to discover that we’ve had over 50,000 uniques visits.
Now in mainstream social media or blog terms, that’s not a particularly large number but to us it’s something to celebrate. You see, we understand that what we’re working on with Sport Walk is a niche interest thing, although because it’s walking related, we do believe there’s a vast audience out there, we just have to find a way for our content to reach them. That’s not easy and constantly battling the algorithm can often make you feel like you’re screaming into the void!
So to get a little notification which tells us that we’ve reached over 50,000 people in these ten years of our existence is wonderful and makes us think that there really is potential to grow Sport Walking into a ‘thing’.
So, given that you’re reading this, we just wanted to say thank you! Thank you so much for engaging with our posts and for just taking the time to dive into our site for a little, to see what we’re about!
And if you’ve learned anything, discovered something, been inspired or just found your tribe, do please spread the word, we’d love to be able to reach more people and to encourage them to do more with walking, whether it’s just for building fitness and improving their health or to discover the joys of taking on Sport Walking challenges.
